At Menopause Alternative, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.
Your UK Consumer Rights
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order and return products within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason.
14-Day Return Period
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to:
- Decide if you want to keep the products
- Notify us if you wish to return them
- Send the products back to us
To initiate a return:
- Email us at info@menopausealternative.com within 14 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number and reason for return
- We'll provide return instructions and our return address
Return Conditions
We accept returns if:
- ✅ Products are unopened and unused
- ✅ Products are in their original packaging with all seals intact
- ✅ Products are returned within 14 days of receipt
- ✅ You have notified us of your intention to return
We cannot accept returns if:
- ❌ Products have been opened or used (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- ❌ Seals or packaging have been broken
- ❌ Products are returned after 14 days
- ❌ Products show signs of use or damage
Exception: Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items (see below)
Return Shipping Costs
Customer Responsibility:
- You are responsible for the cost of returning products to us
- We recommend using a tracked delivery service
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit
- Keep your proof of postage until your refund is processed

Damaged or Faulty Products
If you receive damaged, faulty, or incorrect products:
You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by:
- Emailing info@menopausealternative.com
- Including your order number
- Providing photos of the damaged/faulty product and packaging
- Describing the issue
We will:
- Investigate your claim within 48 hours
- Arrange a replacement or full refund (your choice)
- Provide a prepaid return label (you won't pay return shipping)
- Process your refund or send replacement within 5-7 business days
Your Rights:
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if products are faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. We'll cover all return shipping costs for faulty items.
Refund Process
Once we receive your returned products:
- Inspection: We'll inspect the products within 2-3 business days
- Approval: If the return meets our conditions, we'll approve your refund
- Processing: Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your return
- Payment: Refunds are issued to your original payment method
Refund Amount:
- Full product price refunded
- Original shipping costs are not refunded (unless the product was faulty/incorrect)
- Return shipping costs are not refunded (unless the product was faulty/incorrect)
Refund Timeline:
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days after processing
- Other methods: Up to 14 days after processing
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned once opened:
- Supplements and vitamins (if seal is broken)
- Topical products (if seal is broken)
- Gummies (if seal is broken)
Exception: If the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll accept returns even if opened.
Exchanges
We don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product:
- Return your original order for a refund (following the process above)
- Place a new order for the product you want
This ensures you receive your preferred product as quickly as possible.
Cancellations Before Dispatch
If your order hasn't been dispatched yet:
- Email info@menopausealternative.com immediately
- Include your order number and request cancellation
- We'll cancel and refund your order if it hasn't been dispatched
- If already dispatched, follow the standard return process
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe:
- Check your bank account or payment method again
- Contact your bank or credit card company (processing can take time)
- Contact your payment provider
- If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, email us at info@menopausealternative.com
Partial Refunds
We may issue partial refunds in the following cases:
- Products returned after 14 days (at our discretion)
- Products showing signs of use or damage
- Products returned without original packaging
- Products missing components or accessories
Sale and Promotional Items
- Sale items can be returned following the same policy
- Promotional items and free gifts must be returned with your order
- Bundle discounts: If you return part of a bundle, the refund will be adjusted to reflect individual product pricing
International Returns
For international orders:
- You're responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
- Products must be returned within 14 days of receipt
- We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping method
- Refunds are processed in GBP (£) to your original payment method
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described.
